Los Angeles - The Los Angeles County Democratic Party (LACDP) proudly congratulates Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez (D-Los Angeles) on his historic ascension to the Speakership.
A champion of working families and a longtime grassroots Democratic leader, Pérez is an elected member of the Democratic National Committee and a former Co-Chair of the LACDP Candidate Interview Committee.
As an effective and experienced organizer and negotiator, he will work with Members from both sides of the aisle and find common ground to tackle the many challenges that our state faces.
As Speaker, he will continue to be a fearless champion for California’s families and fight for what is right.
