While in Texas, Carly Fiorina Touts Support from Liz Cheney
Fiorina also admits sending California jobs to Texas
On day three of her fundraising trip through Texas, Carly Fiorina has made herself right at home with the right-wingers in the Lone Star State, touting her support from Karl Rove, and now the Cheney family.
As reported in Politico, Fiorina’s latest tweet announces support from Liz Cheney’s political advocacy group, which criticizes Barbara Boxer on its webpage.
It’s only natural that the Cheney family would reward Fiorina, who has embraced the failed “trickle-down” economic agenda and has called “disgraceful” a new law to end tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas.
But Fiorina’s love for Texas is not new. Here’s what she said in June: “You know, I’ve sent jobs from California to Texas. The environment in Texas is one of ‘y’all come on in.’” (YouTube: Fiorina at Beverly Hills event, 6/23/10)
Yes, Fiorina has loved Texas in the same way she has loved China, India and Malaysia – all places where she has sent California jobs.
Now that Fiorina is with her right-wing friends in Texas, her famous phrase “right-shoring” may have a new meaning.
