2024 Charter Renewal
To maintain a good standing status with the LACDP and to receive your organization's 2024 Charter Certificate, please complete the Renewal Form and submit the renewal fees by March 1, 2024. Please note late fees will be incurred after the due date of March 1st. Instructions to submit the renewal fees are included on the form.
The Renewal Form will require the following information. Please have ALL of this information ready before starting the application.
- Updated list of club leadership/officers + contact info
- Date of your next club leadership election
- Current Bylaws
- Current Membership Roster
- EIN/FEC/FPPC Number
CHARTER RENEWAL FEE:
Democratic Club - $100
Young/College Democrats Club - $30
Political Action Committee (PAC) - $200
Other Organizations (UDH, HQ) - $200
All chartered organizations must submit the Charter Renewal Form and pay the Charter Renewal Fee in order to maintain their 2023-2024 status as a chartered organization.

Please email [email protected] if you have questions about Democratic Clubs and Organizations chartered by the Los Angeles County Democratic Party or if you would like to start a Democratic Club in your area.
Pursuant to the California Elections Code, all Democratic Clubs and Organizations operating in Los Angeles County are required to obtain a charter from the Los Angeles County Democratic Party. The charter application window is open between January 3, 2023 and March 9, 2023. For club renewals, a late fee will be incurred for applications submitted after March 9th. New club charters will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Chartered Democratic Clubs may participate in the California Democratic Party’s (CDP) Pre-Endorsement Conferences for Congressional, State Senate, and State Assembly races if certain requirements are met.
