Los Angeles County Democratic Party Announces Proposition Endorsements
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles County Democratic Party (LACDP) has adopted positions on the following four statewide propositions:
Endorsements for the November 2, 2010 Statewide General Election
Proposition 20 – OPPOSE – Congressional Redistricting
Proposition 25 – SUPPORT – Simple Majority Budget Vote
Proposition 26 – OPPOSE – Two-Thirds Legislative Vote on Fees and Charges
Proposition 27 – SUPPORT – Eliminating State Commission on Redistricting
“This November, please join with the Los Angeles County Democratic Party by supporting sensible government reforms and opposing Schwarzenegger’s latest schemes to move California backward. We urge you to support Props 25 and 27 and oppose Props 20 and 26,” said Eric C. Bauman, Chair of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party.
Endorsements on other ballot measures and local candidates will be made in the coming weeks.
