The Los Angeles County Democratic Party (LACDP) has received official notification that it has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious nationally-recognized Campaign and Elections’ Reed Awards in two categories. LACDP is the only local political party in the nation to have been selected as a finalist.
LACDP has been named a finalist in the “Best Use of a Printed Communication (non-mailed)” category for its Permanent Vote-By-Mail application piece titled “Where Do You Do It?” and in the “Signage & Logo Material – Most Original/Innovative Collateral Item” category for its 2010 California Statewide Democratic Team “Baseball Cards.”
“LACDP worked hard to develop innovative campaign solutions that break through the noise to effectively communicate with voters about Democratic candidates and issues. LACDP’s efforts helped lead to the Democratic clean sweep of California’s statewide races in 2010, and I’m proud that we are finalists for this prestigious national award,” said Eric C. Bauman, Chair of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party.
The Campaigns & Elections’ Reed Awards honor the most creative political professionals in the world, recognizing campaign excellence in more than 50 categories from TV advertising to online fundraising. The awards reception will be held in Washington, DC, in February.
