The Los Angeles County Democratic Party is pleased to present the Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Dinner, honoring the Democrats of the Year, on Sunday, August 22, 2010, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The event will take place at the Sheraton Universal Hotel, located at 333 Universal Hollywood Drive, in Universal City.
We will honor one man and one woman from each Assembly District as the Democrat of the Year, and two of our members county-wide as the Pat Eastman “Volunteer of the Year.” These men and women are the grassroots activists who every day give generously of their time and energy to help elect Democrats at all levels of government.
I am honored to invite you to join with other community leaders and special friends for this wonderful event. Your contribution will enable us to harness the energy of our grassroots activists and volunteers and deliver our Democratic message of hope, strength and empowerment to the more than 2 million Democrats of Los Angeles County.

Individual contributions up to the $10,000 annual combined federal limit for state, district and local party committees will be deposited into LACDP's Federal Account. These contributions are subject to the limitations and prohibitions of the Federal Election Campaign Act. The first $32,400 of all other contributions will be deposited into LACDP's State Candidate Committee (All Purpose Account), with any excess deposited into LACDP’s Issues and Advocacy Committee (Restricted Use Account).
