The Los Angeles County Democratic Party is pleased to present the 2008 Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Dinner, on Sunday, August 3, 2008, at the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach. The event is scheduled from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM in the ship's Grand Salon.
At the dinner, LACDP honors a man and a woman from each Assembly District as the Democrat of the Year. These men and women are the grassroots activists who every day give generously of their time and energy to help elect Democrats at all levels of government. They will be on the front lines in the coming year as we fight to take back the White House and increase our Democratic majorities in Congress and the legislature.
