REGIONAL ELECTION RULES

• Per LACDP Bylaws, only REGULAR Members are eligible to run for Regional Vice-Chair and Regional Secretary. 
  • Regular Members includes elected or ex-officio members. Alternates and Associate Members are ineligible to run for Regional positions. 
    
    
• All candidates must be nominated and their candidacy seconded.
  
  
• Candidates for Regional Vice-Chair will have 5-Minutes for their speech. Candidates for Regional Secretary will have 2-Minutes for their Speech.
  
  
• Voting will take place via ROLL CALL by the election facilitator. 
  • Elected Members, Ex-Officio Members and Alternates are eligible to vote. 
    
    
• In the event of a tie, there will be a second roll call vote to determine the winner.
