2025 Charter Application
To maintain a good standing status with the LACDP and to receive your organization's 2025 Charter Certificate, please complete the Charter Application and submit the appropriate fees by March 1, 2025. Please note late fees will be incurred after the due date of March 1st. Instructions to submit the renewal fees are included on the form.
The Charter Application will require the following information. Please have ALL of this information ready before starting the application.
- Updated list of club leadership/officers + contact info
- Date of your next club leadership election
- Current Bylaws
- Current Membership Roster
- EIN/FEC/FPPC Number
CHARTER RENEWAL FEE:
Democratic Club - $100
Young/College Democrats Club - $30
Political Action Committee (PAC) - $200
Other Organizations (UDH, HQ) - $200
NEW CHARTER FEE:
Democratic Club - $50
Young/College Democrats Club - $15
Political Action Committee (PAC) - $150
Other Organizations (UDH, HQ) - $150
All chartered organizations must submit the Charter Application and pay the Charter Fees in order to maintain their status as a chartered organization.

Participating in the California Democratic Party Endorsement Process
Chartered Democratic Clubs may participate in the California Democratic Party’s (CDP) Pre-Endorsement Conferences for Congressional, State Senate, and State Assembly races if certain requirements are met.
