2020 Fellow & Internship Program

 

SPRING 2020 CLASS

LACDP FELLOW

This 15-week leadership program is an incredible opportunity for one college-student per class to prepare them for future leadership opportunities within the party and beyond. In addition to working directly with top-level LACDP Staff and Officers, the Fellow will have the opportunity to help plan and execute LACDP events, sit in on top level meetings, oversee the development of the class community service project, and so much more.

 

The LACDP Fellow receives a $4000 stipend, and is open to current college or recent graduate students in Los Angeles County. Housing is not provided.

 

 

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

 

This 15-week program provides a unique opportunity for young, hungry, and passionate future leaders to gain hands-on experience in Democratic politics, strengthen their understanding of the political process and prepare them for the political opportunities. In addition to assigned duties, interns will have the chance to develop a community outreach project, participate in local grassroots organizing, assist at LACDP functions, attend weekly luncheons with state, local and party officials and more.

Open to current college or recent graduate students in Los Angeles County. Housing is not provided.

  • One Essay (500 words) on the importance of Civic Engagement
